The pictures by Jim Koretsky of the ICE trailers on CSX at Selkirk appear to be taken relatively recently based on the number of "Dark Future" painted locomotives in the background. These show the trailers in standard TOFC service, with a surprising number of patches on them. So it appears they still survive and are being used in standard TOFC service at this time.
