The Nebraska Zephyr returns to the IRM - a 1/6th pan

The CB&Q Stainless Steel Articulated Nebraska Zephyr set and remarkable E-5 have returned to service at the Illinois Railway Museum after a nearly 4 year absence while repairs were made to her due to a switching mishap in 2005.

The train set is looking better then ever and I was happy to finally see it once again having last saw her at the BN Galesburg Yard (here) in 1997 for Galesburg Railroad Days.

Here she is - looking like a train oughtta look captured in a pan taken at 1/6th!

Interestingly, the engine (Silver Pilot) has been redone with black stripes vrs the red strips as captured the last time I had seen her in '97. Does anyone know which colors, if not both would be most appropriate?

Hope you enjoyed!
