Any Tie to BNSF Buying EMD vs GE???

Since Berkshire Partners is headed or affliated with Berkshire Hathaway which has been buying up lots of BNSF stock, is there any connection to BNSF buying more EMDs over GE locos?

I would think the Berkshire folks would want to keep the money in house versus another supplier????
