I have seen several of these windmill unit trains, WESTBOUND, on the BNSF here in Spokane. The cars appear to have special modifications to secure the base parts as well as the blades. The blades are placed on the cars such that they overlap onto a second car. The eastern part of the Columbia river gorge has become a large windmill farm. There are scores of them on top of every ridge.
