Saw newsmagazine at Doctors office today that talked about the high speed stuff, said many corridors would be operated like the Northeast Corridor. Last time I was there, that corridor was owned by Amtrak and one local freight was allowed in the middle of the night to service the few remaining customers, and conductor on my train said that no through freight was allowed anymore. Is this still the case???
