The 4449 crew laughs every time someone asks for a schedule. All they know is that they're departing at 8 AM, and will operate at the mercy of the railroad. Amtrak has allowed numerous photo run-bys during its trip to Bend, and 3751's trips to San Diego.

Good news is that there will be a live GPS broadcast from the train, so armchair foamers can track its progress across the Great Northern!
