Amtrak should have stayed with EMD F-40s
Yea the milege wasnt the greatest but they ran forever and were easy to fix and would have saved hundreds of millions on delays, hotels, busses, training employees on how to work on the GE Stuff, spare parts, storage

Like Southwest Airlines using 737's
They saved a ton of money
