Three or four years ago I did a special Milwaukee Road presentation for the campers at Lake Easton, WA. Held in their amphlitheatre(sic) in the evening.. Gave a talk and showed two hours worth of videos.. One old timer was a retired engineer from Cle Elum. Said he lost part of his freight train going across the Columbia River because of high winds..
I was invited by the WA State Parks folks to do this.
For you Milwaukee fans, I have about 100 8x10 prints of old Milwaukee scenes on the Western Extension that I purchased from Warren Wing. Would love to display some but don't have a clue as to how to do that on the A-P Board.. Got lots of goodies too. Ski trains to HYAK..
Bi-Polars coming out of your ears. Joe's ... etc, etc.. Also have the Yard facilities that were at the TOP of Snoqualmie Pass before the tunnel was built at Hyak..
Maybe someday, I'll figure out the technique that you other guys have used..
