I'm not Shortline Sammie by any stretch...but it should be Dave Root, who, last I knew, owned the Willamette Valley Railroad. His brother Mike had the neighboring Albany & Eastern (which had been part of the WVR before the Root brothers parted ways), but Mike sold to Rick Franklin a year or two ago.
