The Museum and the City of Ely advertised for a vendor to handle car storage on the northern part of the rail line. We have entered into a contract with S & S Shortline Leasing for car storage on the track from Shafter south. The STB filing is because S & S will need to interchange with the UP or possibly the BNSF.

As part of our agreement, S & S will handle all track repairs (which they have started on) and switching on that part of the line.
