Rail is only part of it, What about the signals, Switches & Switch stands ( the ones I saw probably date to the 20s or 30s). What is the condition of the rest of the infrastructure ?

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to seeing rail activity in the 101 corridor. I go to visit My father in law frequently and will enjoy being able to work in a little fanning with those visits. Getting the line back to the red car days would be a bonus. we can only watch and wait .

What effect will this BART B/S have on the bottom line for SMART? Will they have to match pay rates and benefits?
