Here our a couple pics to share, from back home in California, a few weeks back, when one of the KG1LA trains loaded with heritage units came through.

First we have the train cresting Summit at Cajon Pass.

Next, the same train has switched over to the old SP and is passing Mormon Rocks (felt bad, as some chasers didn't realize this and set up over by the old Sante Fe... would have done the same myself if not being saved by an old friend who stopped by from making the same mistake, maybe 15 seconds before this shot).

Finally, we see the power for the evenings Mojave manifest at Pepper.
