MRL has retired and sold 2 of it's F-45's numbers 391 and 393 to Progress Rail. (for trivia buffs, the 391 was Doyle M's (of 4449 fame) unit. (Sorry Doyle, couldn't spell your last name if I tried). 391 has a prime mover problem, 393 suffered an AR-10 fire while on lease to BNSF last year. Several SD-45 units were retired and sold as well. 3 retired SD-9's to be scrapped at Livingston by Progress Rail. The remaining 2 F-45's are in storage. Reports indicate the SD-70ace units are exceeding expectations.
