I shutter to think what would have happened if A Surfliner or Metrolink would have killed these boys
1st the unessesary loss of life and the parents suffering for many years
2nd the poor engineer and the conductor(s) having to check if the boys were still alive
3rd the delay to the passengers (how many hours would the railroad be shut down)
4th the cost for police, medics, Orange County, OCTA, FRA, OSHA, NTSB, costs in the millions
5th the court costs when the parents sue all the above

They were damm lucky!
