The Wilmington P.E. station was located at approximately 325 N. Avalon Blvd., just south of "D" street. In the view below from Google Earth, we can see how the tracks crossed Avalon on a diagonal coming north from San Pedro (which would be in the upper right corner) going towards Los Angeles (lower right corner).
This view is looking southward on Avalon Blvd. (south at the top of the picture) with "D" Street crossing Avalon in the bottom of the picture. Before the tracks were paved over, I crossed them many times driving north on Avalon, and I have faint memories of being on the P.E. and stopping there as a very small child (around 5 or 6)
