The unit was stenciled with MRLX 327 reporting marks; no doubt reflecting the connection between CEECO & Montana Rail Link. I guess there were no liens against it as with the Milwaukee E - Unit.
The Chehalis Western ALCo C - 415 was not visible on CEECO property last Thursday 09/03/2009; perhaps it was inside the shop. I drove by Dacca Park in Fife, its' stated final resting place; no evidence yet of where it will be stuffed & mounted.
Can't help but wonder if Tacoma Rail might be interested in obtaining the CEECO facilities for their own purposes; CEECO performed most of their major equipment work over the years.
