The California Zephyr in Texas? Yep. We in Texas like to recall the good ole days of Texas railroading when trains like the Empire Builder, the Broadway Limited, The Crescent, The City of San Francisco, etc. made their usual stops in every small town between here and Mexico.... Yup, another fine example of crack reporting.... :o)

By the way, there are no tracks between Balmorhea and Fort Davis. The T&P line is about 25 miles north of Balmorhea and the Sunset Route is 21 miles south of Fort Davis at Marfa. Could have been the Sunset Limited there.
