Shot this odd looking fake GP35 in downtown LA on Sunday. Had I thought things through when I got in the car I would have brought a small camera too, as those with camera phones were allowed to get much closer than I was, and I could have gotten a side shot too.

I'm guessing the vents in front are because it was really a truck. I'm guessing the backwards coupler is because the prop person messed up.
My question is, why was it made to look so accuate cab-wise (and the side view was also very accurate). I'm thinking that there may be a real GP35 out there painted the same way for other shots.
Anyone know?
