A couple of problems with this. Yes, it encourages others to do it too. They talk about doing it on "Abandon rails". They use that term to mean "Abandon" as in the way a car is abandon so that it is no longer "Owned". In their minds, and others that listen to them, the rails are no longer "Owned", so they are free for the taking. But just watch if they fell off of a locomotive, or dropped between the rails and were injured. Then you and I, the tax payers would be at fault.
A few years ago we were doing a legitimate speeder run on the NWP near Squaw Rock, oops, make that Native American Female Rock, got to be politically correct. Anyway the lead car was about to go into a tunnel at about 10 or so miles per hour, the line had been inspected the day before for track problems, well out popped an ATV that had to swerve out of the way to avoid a collision. What if we had been a few seconds sooner, or it had been these idiots that would have been unable to swerve?
I don't want to be out there legally and run into these people and hope they can stop before running into me. As to the girls on the run with them, well males have no corner on the market in the idiot department.
