Old tech loco on high tech track

I'm curious what the 4449 crew thinks of the ride on these welded rail-concrete tie super accurate roadbeds they are traversing. I have seen some "at speed" cab video and the ride looks brutal. Any improvement with track that is maintained to current class 1 specs?
