This evening's train news posting from Espee99 includes a link to an Oregon Live article, with photo, about the two RDCs coming to TriMet from Alaska RR for WES service.

The accompanying photo shows an RDC-2. I suspect that TriMet would retrofit the baggage compartment as bicycle storage for riders. They could also retrofit it with doors for passenger entry and exit, rather than depend on just the end doors.
