All it takes is money for the special ribbon cutting excursion train to happen. I do not doubt that there is plenty of folks out there who will ride it. In 1997 when the FRA shut down the weekend excursion service on the Redwood Coast Adventurer from Healdsburg to Willits, the ll car train was frequently sold out. For those that rode it; it was made up of primarily made up f ex_daylight cars, a diner and thre domes. In fact, there was 10,000 reservations on the books when the plug was pulled and I KNOW that fact because I WAS involved with the train. There is money to be made here and my opinion is once NWP gets its feet. the railraod will contract out the excursion service and it will run. All it takes is an operator, experience, money and equipment.
