I road several Sierra fan trips around 1960 and remember "checking out" Hetch Hetchy Junction several times from the train, with above average curiosity. Perhaps we even made some photo stops there. I do not remember seeing ANY relics of the junction's past history, other than some evidence of the HH abandoned ROW off to the south. This somewhat surprised me, which is why I remember it. I'm wondering if those who visited more recently can tell me about stuff that I overlooked way back when.
