1900 GN Line Change

I have been at Jackson Street Roundhouse this week doing research at the GNRHS Archives. Earlier I had posted an air photo on flickr of a line change near Glacier Park. This week I found the original AFE and the Right of Way map for the change.

The AFE is 1363 from 1901. Cost was $239,000. At the time of the AFE the work had been completed. Normally an AFE is the document granting permission to do work. Approval was by John F Stevens. The RW map shows the old line and the new line is red. The air photo is posted, also.

These materials will be part of field trips and tours at the 2010 convention.
