I'm not buying that Charles. WCRF has a photo when this unit was being prepped for the movie. They used a plate to cover the handbrake on the left side of the nose. [westcoastrailforums.com]

Your photo of 3502 at Fillmore shows exactly where the plate was removed and the clean paint underneath.

Besides, why would the REAL 3502 have vents on the nose for a truck driver to see thru?
