Smitty195: The train was not occupied, the train was returning to the yard. The track that the train was diverging on to leads down to the Operations and Maintenance Base/Yard.

Anyways, it's already starting to sound like the switch was thrown while the train was passing over it. It's just another issue to add to the long list of past problems with the signal & control systems.
