"high and wide" detector reliability

I tend to agree with the Pole Burner that IF something CAN happen, it WILL happen. I would like to ask the Pole Burner that if this incorrect routing happens to an extra-tall double-stack train, how fail-safe are the high and wide detectors in getting the train stopped before it strikes a low tunnel?
