Matt - I only discovered this site yesterday.
I am open to using another site and am open to suggestions I am sorry about the wait, but as "Exespee" pointed out, this is how these sites make their money.
I would hope that nobody would feel compelled to pay, just to download these recordings! I see this morning that the SD45 recording has been downloaded 30 times and the BNSF SD40-2 recording 9 times so far.
I just downloaded the description files for the recordings, in the event that you wish to have it. These are word documents:
Deep Creek-Four Lakes description of recording
In the event that some may wish a SMALLER recording, I downloaded one this morning. This one is 9 minutes as we went through Mondovi WA. It includes throttling from idle to run 8, then dynamics, and a couple of crossings. 10.21MB in size. No descriptive file other than that above:
SD45's at Mondovi WA - 9 minute recording
And, finally, here is a picture of this train at Davenport WA before we started east.
I didn't get any more pictures of the train enroute as I had my hands full. This train was a "scoot" train that went west to Ritzville on the BNSF. I would love to see a picture of it on BNSF between Cheney and Ritzville. Unfortunately this train went west Sunday night after dark. We cut off the 3rd unit (8924) in Cheney as it wouldn't be needed on the relatively flat BNSF line. It sure came in handy on our roller coaster line, though!
