Tell the politicians that. Yeah, "taggers" cost cities and other public and private property owners millions of dollars each year in damages and cleanup costs, and cities across the country have "graffiti task forces" that go out and remove or paint over this crap, but are the lawmakers really willing to make the taggers pay for the damage they're doing?

I'd personally rather make these punks (or their parents) pay the cost of removing their "handiwork" and repainting/repairing what's been defaced; otherwise, taxpayers or private property owners will end up footing the bill (as usual).
