Brand new ALCO C628 in San Jose, August 1965

Looking as though it has just arrived on the property, ALCO C628 #4867 rests next to the Lenzen St. engine facility in San Jose. Note the uninstalled number boards. It is August 1965 which, for the next 37 years would be my last free and unemployed summer.
