I'd love to have that job! Then they wouldn't have to send anyone from Oakdale.

I was excited on Monday when I heard strange horn echoing down to the Beach from Aptos station. I hopped in the car real quick and caught a glance of Sierra 48 heading Southbound, solo, past Rio del Mar golf course.

I hope Sierra is ready for some community complaints, because ol' 48 is SMOKEY. Sure, the UP used double and sometimes triple head to pull one lumber car, but at least they didn't leave a cloud behind them like Pigpen from Peanuts.
