Two things
1) Double tracking the mainline through San Clemente??? News to me. On 12-16-09 I talked to the project manager for the "quiet zoning" of Orange County and he told me that the SCRRA project was going all the down to "Trestles" on the county line.

2) I realize that you're not going to please all of the NIMBY's or the BANANA's for that matter, but maybe the Santa Cruz County Transit Authority could start now and develope a media campainge (sp) about aliviating the congestion on Hwy 17 into the bay area. I have heard that Monterrey County wants Cal-Train to run farther south than Gilroy. I don't know, it's just a thought
