Years ago; in the late 70s and 80s, an outfit calling itself the "Fairfield Area Rapid Transit" ran old style city transit buses all the way into the Concord BART Station. They even emblazoned the side of their white buses with the acronym F.A.R.T..

Thus, you could say that every hour or so, there was a another FART at BART.
