I don't see any way either section of the line could survive as only a tourist line, there's no way that small income could even keep up with maintaining the bridges and tunnels! Not to mention the 60lb rail on the Clarkia branch, and even if they dropped the speed on the the 133 on the Plummer line to 10 MPH, as the Milwaukee Proved to us, sooner or later, bad things start happening when you can't take care of your track. The two points stated by Bruce above and the maintenance costs would only end in failure for any tourist line that tried to make a go of it.
