A Canadian National westbound sulfur train moves slowly along the Thompson River
Canyon, just east of Lasha, British Columbia on July 19th, 2009. This CN westbound is just about to enter the longest of the three natural tunnels between Lasha and Morris. There are numerous slide sheds in this area as the Canadian National was the second builder through this narrow jagged canyon, which is popular with white water enthusiasts. Both the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific haul a lot of export sulfur in open hoppers.
