Yes. The Amtrak locomotive derailed a few miles up from Mt. Shasta, on the same spot that a load of scrap rail hit the ties a few days before. From what I've heard, getting the locomotive back on the rails consumed an hour or two, at which time it took the train the rest of the way into Mt. Shasta, where a UP engine took the train south while the Amtrak unit remained on the interchange tracks until it could be inspected.
