I have never said that the CHSRA can do no wrong.

The estimated fares are average HST fares. Sure, there are discount airline tickets, but not everybody is flying on a discount airfare. There is no reason why the California system cannot offer discounted train fares.

"The CHSRA projected ridership numbers seem to be lacking much documentation as to the underlying modeling methodology that you can actually "check" the assumptions and conclusions against?"
