I really enjoyed my time as the SP editor for FLIMSIES. I started when Charlies Baden was looking for people to be editors. I called Charlie and he said, "OK, you will be the SP editor. Can you also do the Preservation column until I can find someone?"

I said sure. Then he said, "How about being the UP editor?"

I said "What?" Charlie said, "OK, I'll find someone."

It wasn't much later that Bill Farmer took over, followed by Bill Shippen. Bill then launched SP REVIEW and I did that for the entire 6 or 7 year run. Those experiences introduced me to a large number of friends, many of whom I still am in contact with today.

Those were great times.
