I commute past the TC&O N. Richland yard every day, although in January it's usually dark when I drive by. Still, every morning I can see the headlight of one of their MP-15ACs getting ready to go to work. They made a run up to the Hanford site yesterday, I understand, and AFAIK they still make a daily run over to Richland Jct. every weekday (and often on Sundays). Not as many cars on the train as before, but they're still hauling what they can.

I know it sucks for them to have to share the traffic, but from a railfan's perspective, the TC&O has been pretty fun to watch the last couple months. It's hard to beat seeing three different railroads (TC&O, BNSF and UP) on one shortline, sometimes on the same day. Haven't seen any of the big UP unit grain trains lately, so don't know it they're done with them, or if the traffic is seasonal.
