Woodinville Junction

The Port of Seattle owns the railroad from Snohomish to Woodinville Junction; then to Redmond and to Bellevue - just across the Wilburton trestle. If the bridge adjacent to the new Woodinville engine terminal has a City of Redmond sign on it, the installer was way, way out of order - by miles. If the bridge in downtown Redmond has a similar sign, so be it - but who cares. Errant signs don't last long.

I saw a Port of Seattle electrical crew inspecting the two grade crossings at 124th Avenue NE & NE 124th Street in Kirkland, today. 124 blocks from Pioneer Square, Seattle, both to the North and to the East. Figuring out street addresses in these towns is somewhere between fun and maddening. This intersection was a great show for the Dinner Train; traffic stopped for several minutes; great deal of waving.
