Yeah, I drove over the 124th/124th grade crossing this morning on my way to work. That area is called Totem Lake. The roads over each adjacent crossing are very busy, no crossing gates, and right at the crest of a grade in each direction, so I can see how the dinner train would have caused a big tie up. It's confusing if one isn't very familiar with the area. Are there potential shippers in Bellevue? Will trains be operating on that section again?

I was speaking of the bridges near downtown Redmond that have that orange barrier and "keep off" signs. I haven't looked at the trestle over Redmond way yet, although it's enclosed on each side. The two that were just blocked off, have minimal railings on one side and totally open on the other. Those are the wooden trestle over the Sammamish River and the adjacent one over Lake Sammamish Parkway. But yeah, I've still seen kids walking over the bridge anyway.

Anyone know what will come of the Redmond branch?
