The SW-8's were neccesary on the El Cajon Branch as ths rail at Grossmont Summit has close to spagettii until the Trolley rebuilt it. I will swear I saw 3 SW's MUed but most my pictures show two. Three Coaster sets do a daytime layover in the Trolley Yard. Trolleys fill the same tracks at night. SD&IV hauls cars to San Ysidro for the CZRY to pick up for delivery to Tijuana to Tecate. SD&IV also runs the El Cajon branch. Old operations at late night. You can see the yard from the 'Sign-on San Diego' Coronado Webcam.
