OK-- Here is a question for you whiz kids...

There is a double track "main" that branches off the BNSF around Argo and heads up "Airport Way" a couple of blocks, before it becomes all single track.

It actually parallels I-5 and Airport Way, running in between the two roadways. It runs thru the old Rainier Brewery//Tully's location and comes to a DEAD END just before Spokane Street..

Ques: What is the "historical significance" of THAT route ?? Warren Wing told me, so let's see what the rest of you think.. Thanks..
