It has to do with compatibility. The doors and other
items has to be reworked to be used on Metrolink. And
with the cab car on one end and the engine on the other,
you just couldn't throw it anywhere in the consist.
Normally, you enter the UTA car from the Bombardier
trailer car. The seating is 3 - 2 and some don't want
to use it.
