Tri-City (and Olympia) is still operating. They still hold the contract with Union Pacific for car forwarding/switching from Richland Junction to Richland, WA.
TCRY controls the track and requires BNSF local L-NWE4041 to call for permission at Richland Junction. TCRY typically performs their switch job at Lamb Weston/Henningsen Cold Storage in the mornings prior to the BNSF arrival.
TCRY also built the bulk grain unloading facility for a customer which has accepted 6-8 unit trains off the UP. They are about due for another one.
