Those were all taken from January of 1985 until around 1990 or so when they put in the CWR between Santa Cruz and Davenport. Until then, six-axle power was not allowed beyond Orby (Wrigley Plant). If they had any SD9's, they were left behind and just the GP9's went to Davenport, often needing to double or triple the hill from Wilder Creek to Orby.
After the CWR went in, the SD9's ran all the way and were later joined by occassional SD40's and 45's. After the yellow armageddon, larger units became common for a while but with the rest of the branch falling apart, 4 axle power became the norm.
To answer about the wrecks. I have never really had any fascination about train wrecks (or any others) and just as soon keep my nose out of other's misfortune. So to answer your question, no I do not have any photos of the wrecks.
