If it's beet crops they want, with water to grow 'em and plenty of heat and sunshine like the Imperial Valley, look no further than eastern WA or southern ID. But just watch what it'll do to the price of everything that contains sugar. Remember what happened with corn-related products? To quote Geddy Lee (lyrics by Neil Peart, or course): "Don't feed the people what we feed the machines." And vice-versa.
