Re: Milwaukee Road Tacoma Passenger Station

The Milwaukee Road's "new " Tacoma passenger depot was long gone by the time I arrived in Puget Sound in 1995, however the concrete platforms were visible thru the fence on Milwaukee Way until 2 years ago. This portion of the Maersk - Sealand property is now being used for container storage.
The Milwaukee Road also spent scarce dollars building a new passenger depot in Butte, MT.; one that also served its' passenger trains for only a few years.
