Actually, I'm glad the Boardman and Centralia coal plants will close soon. I want electric rates to skyrocket, maybe then people will finally wake up and start to take substantive action against the current crop of socio-fascist wingnuts running this country, not to mention those who support them. At the very least it will help to spur the development of off-grid power sources, of which I am an investor!

The railroads whose coal-hauling revenue will be cut back? Good! All I can say is, if you get in bed with the anti-business party, you get what you deserve in the end. Besides, bankruptcy for large corporations is a cakewalk these days, since the feds will surely bailout the railroads - if they haven't already! But hard times are on the horizon for the rail industry since there will be nothing left to haul the way things are going now.
