There was a time, believe it or not, that existing locomotives were sometimes discussed for possible candidates for the Grand Canyon Ry. Not always seriously, but dreaming perhaps...and 4460 was one that came up. She would have been a good match for their profile. Another was the Cotton Belt 819, especially because of her having roller bearings.
